Welcome to the
Centre for Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology
At the Centre for Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (CBET), our goal is to change Canada’s business landscape for the better. We want to foster more entrepreneurship, more innovation, more creativity, and just plain better businesses. How? Through education, research, and student and professional development initiatives that push innovation forward in Canada.
CBET is a part of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo, and was developed to support, build on, and expand UW’s already-burgeoning culture of entrepreneurship. We’re pushing the boundaries of Canadian business to create and foster leaders through four key initiatives: The Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology business program that challenges students with a practical, modern curriculum; professional development programs that extend both the entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial skills of business professionals; world-class research that keeps CBET on the forefront of innovation; and undergraduate-level student activities that advance entrepreneurial skills to inspire students early on.
We’re dedicated to exploring, inspiring, and transforming ideas and, in turn, redefining the face of Canadian business.
